I bought two of these kayaks 3 years ago. We make an effort to go out once a month, ocean, lake, or river kayaking. These kayaks have been incredible! We purchased 2 of the 8ft kayaks for our boys ages, 13 and 10. These kayaks are very durable and lightweight. Easy for them to pick up and carry on their own. So far they have exceeded our expectations. One of the kayaks was missing a small clamp for the back rest so I called the company and they gladly sent the piece. I agree with others that the plastic tabs to hold the seat back in place are flimsy, so I am being very careful with them. This kayak is just the right size and weight for me (I am 5'4" and 110 lbs). I am able to get it on my car myself. I wish that it had more well-defined handles for carrying at your side with the flat side against your hip. Kayak is nice and fits in back of my truck, tracks well in water. The included paddle was a little short for me and did not have water deflection devices on shaft. I bought a nice longer paddle with water deflection cup on internet for $20 an am now enjoying kayaking. LOVE THIS KAYAK!!! 1 Apr 20

I love this kayak. The Lifetime customer service is amazing. One of the buckles broke during my second trip out. I was able to tie the strap and continue using my kayak for the remainder of the trip. This is a cool kayak but not made for a river with a current, now a lake yes. We do take it out on the river and it does the job just not quite like a sit in kayak. We do love it though. It's been through heck and comes with a paddle and a back area to hold clothes or a small cooler is need be. The seat adjusts as well as the paddle length. If you like to kayak this one will work for a lake or river with not a heavy current. We have enjoyed this product since buying it. About us
