The Ozark Trail Car Top Kayak Carrier Kit is an all in one kit you need to store and safely drive with your kayak on top of your vehicle. Each kit includes 2 protective foam blocks, 2 tie down buckle straps with gutter mounts, 2 twenty foot length pieces of polypropylene rope and a mesh storage bag. Be sure to educate yourself on how to properly tie down and secure your kayak before attempting to travel with it on top of your car. There are a number of ways to safely secure a kayak to the top of your vehicle, one of the most common ways is by using the 2 buckle straps in the middle of the kayak, then using the rope to secure both the front and back ends to the hood and trunk.
