New Vehicle Hood Loop Webbing Straps (pair) Canoe And Kayak

Pair of Hood Webbing Loop Straps  (2 straps with each order) These straps are designed to be placed under the hood of your vehicle.  The loop straps are placed under fender bolts near the front left & right bumper (1/4" diameter bolt).  They give you a convenient location for tying down the canoe's or sea kayak's bow .  This will provide a double tie down to the bow of your boat for a secure attachment point (utilizing one rope for side to side restraint) . You also need 2 bars mounted to the top of your vehicle to provide 2 additional tie down points and consider adding a double tie down system in the rear of your vehicle.  Leaving you confident that your boat (canoe, kayak, & sea kayak) are well secured for the trip. The end of Hood W ebbing Loops will have masking tape for manufacturing, leave the tape in place as it does not affect function. The Webbing Loop Strap should only be a snug tight guy point (10-15 lb tensile load), used to keep boat from shifting from side to side.  The straps are not intended for high tension loads (max 30-40 lbs load).
