Expedition Series From Salt City Sailing
This pair of trampolines for the Hobie Adventure Island is the Best set you can buy.
The
trampoline is a combination of the same mesh as the OEM trampolines
phifertex Plus and 22 ounce Vinyl coated polyester on the ends.
This combination essentially
tuff wraps the stressed ends of the trampolines where it counts but
still allows the main trampolines body to be made of mesh which is a BIG
DEAL on the adventure Islands.
Our trampolines also go in
closer to main the hull just like OEM, But you can also set them up
further away from the center if you like to. Ours are made with the
proper cut out and clearance to fit more inboard when compared to other
aftermarket manufactures.
When the wind is up the wind flows
through the mesh allowing you head up wind higher and cuts down the
downwind push the wind excerpts on your kayak. Especially important if
you want to hang out at some point or peddle straight up wind.
Mesh in the middle allows for this efficiency.
Our
trampolines are made to same size as the OEM tramps, but with a few
more features. This set features a single on one side, (SEE OUR OTHER

With 6 stimpson #4 marine
grade grommets in each side along with a stiffening rod in the back
these trampolines are the Cats Meow.
The stiffing rod is made of
fiberglass in a low profile oblong shape and is 3 times stiffer than
the trampoline rods in a Hobie 20 WOWSER!
If you prefer an
allumin rod we can do that too but the fiberglass rod is plenty stiff,
lighter and wont corrode inside your trampoline.
Included in listing are two heavy duty rafting Cam straps to lace each side up.
Theres no slipping here, you can also loop in two half hitch after its tensioned for piece of mind but we just tension and go!
in
the front of each trampoline are three grommets with an included strap
on each side. The adjustable strap can hold your paddle or anything else
you desire. And when you roll up your trampoline on the front beam the
strap holds rolled trampoline in place!
The middle grommets allow the attachment of our spray shields or those from other manufactures.
We definatley reinginnered the entire thing to make these the burliest trampolines with the highest performance and longevity.
While slightly heavier than the stock trampoline the Expedition series is lighter than all vinyl trampolines!
