Amazing Arthur Shilstone (b 1922) Watercolor Of White Water Kayak

Up for sale is a great watercolor by legendary outdoor water-colorist and illustrator Arthur Shilstone (b.1922).  This fantastic piece shows a pair kayaking in white water.  Shilstone is a well collected artist with a lengthy auction record. His works hangs in museums and private collections around the world. His art has been featured in numerous magazines and books over the years. The piece is framed and the visible image measures approximately 14 x 19 inches.  Including the frame it measures approximately 21 x 24.  It is signed lower right and dedicated to a friend. The art comes from the collection of a noted picture editor for the Smithsonian magazine. Further information available upon request and provided to purchaser. The work appears to be in nice shape. The frame on the other hand is rather cheap and lacks backing.
